Do I need to declare my Hyderabad rental income to HMRC?
Yes. As a UK resident, you must declare worldwide income to HMRC β including Indian rental income. However, the India-UK DTAA means TDS deducted in India can be offset against your UK tax bill. Verta provides the documentation you need: Form 16A (TDS certificate) and monthly P&L statements for your accountant.
Can I transfer my Hyderabad rental income to my UK bank account?
